Frontier Technologies Announces Contract Award for 2GIT BPA

Frontier Technologies,Inc. (FTI) is proud to announce that the company has been selected as an awardee for the 2GIT (Second Generation Information Technology) contract vehicle. The $5.5B contract provides access to pre-vetted hardware and software IT vendors for government agencies.

While the contract was specifically built for Air Force customers, it’s available to all federal buyers and can be used to purchase hardware, software and other IT services. The BPA (Blanket Purchase Agreement) has been awarded to 79 companies and is split among 21 large firms and 58 small businesses.

According to the GSA announcement, the 2GIT BPAs deliver a streamlined process for purchasing IT hardware and software products and services through GSA Advantage!®. GSA developed the 2GIT solution in collaboration with the U.S. Air Force, and it will extend the benefits of a Best-in-Class (BIC) IT Products purchasing solution to the federal government.

“It's an honor to be one of the 79 recipients of this US Air Force multi-year IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) contract. It proves that hard work does eventually pay off and also serves as a testament to Frontier Technologies’ capability to serve this great country. We’re proud to be part of 2GIT and we look forward to providing Best-in-Class IT Solutions to government agencies all across the United States.”
