Frontier SEWP VI Award

Frontier Technologies Wins Two NASA SEWP VI Contracts

After a competitive, multi-round evaluation, the Wilmington company earned awards in two categories, clearing the way to sell both technology products and IT services across the federal government.

Frontier Technologies, Inc. (FTI) has landed two contracts on NASA’s Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement program, known as SEWP, one of the largest and most heavily used technology-buying vehicles in the federal government. The awards give the Wilmington, Delaware company a direct line to sell to nearly any federal agency for the next decade.

FTI won in two of the program’s three categories. Category A is for technology products and the solutions built around them: computers, software, networking, security, and audiovisual systems, plus the work to install and support them. Category C is for services, from custom software and network operations to engineering, data analytics, hosting, and cybersecurity. Holding both is what sets the awards apart. It means FTI can take on the full range of a customer’s technology needs, from the equipment they run on to the services that keep their programs moving.

SEWP has been around for decades, and this is its sixth version. NASA runs it, but it serves the whole government. Agencies from the Defense Department to Veterans Affairs to Homeland Security use it to buy technology quickly and competitively. Each SEWP VI contract can carry up to $20 billion in orders over its 10-year life. That is a ceiling rather than a guarantee, but it shows the scale of the program.

Getting here took work. The awards followed a demanding review in which companies had to prove their quality certifications, their record on similar contracts, and their ability to deliver. FTI cleared all of it, in two categories at once.

“We’ve spent years building the kind of track record that gets a company onto a contract like this, so winning in both categories means a lot to our team,” said Reshma Moorthy, President and CEO. “For our customers, it’s simpler than that. They can come to us for the technology they need and the people to make it work, all on one contract.”

The focus now shifts to getting ready. The contracts take effect on November 1, 2026, and the company is already staffing up and building the operations to be ready when they do.

“Getting the award is the easy part — now we have to run it well,” said Jayshree Moorthy, Chief Federal Officer. “We’re putting the people and the processes in place now so that when the contract starts in November, agencies get quick, reliable service from the first day.”

For a small business, a place on SEWP VI is a rare kind of opening: a direct, decade-long path to sell across the federal government. FTI plans to make the most of it.
